One of Hollywood’s most popular and versatile actors, Academy Award winner Robert Duvall brings to his characters the rare gift of almost tangible intensity. From his 1962 screen debut as Gregory Peck’s simple-minded neighbor Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird to his roles as actor, director, and producer of the newly released Assassination Tango, he has enthralled audiences for over 40 years. The recipient of an Oscar for Best Actor in Tender Mercies (1983), Duvall also received Academy Award nominations for The Godfather (1972), Apocalypse Now (1979), and The Apostle (1997). This program is an entertaining and engaging with Robert Duvall about his memorable career. This program was recorded July 2003, at the Smithsonian Institution | ||
