The battle between the sexes rages on, and despite huge advancements in human knowledge, men and women still haven’t got a clue about each other. Tonight, however, help is at hand!

In a hilarious evening of repartee and “he says/she says” debate, Washington Post humor columnist Gene Weingarten and University of Connecticut literature professor Gina Barreca eradicate centuries’ worth of confusion. They provide two different takes on topics such as fidelity, body image, advertising, and technology, confronting the myths and stereotypes that confuse each gender. They also answer such age-old questions as whether men are funnier than women.

Gene Weingarten writes the popular Washington Post Sunday Magazine column “Below the Beltway.”

This event was recorded live at the Smithsonian Institution in October 2004
